Powered Parachute Flight Lesson Options

Not all situations are the same!

As a professional Powered Parachute CFI, I will strive to provide the thorough training that will give you what you need to fly your PPC. Below are several of the scenarios. And also a general idea of what you can expect for a cost for each. If you would like a complete explanation on what is involved, please contact me. We can have to have a full discussion of your needs. A training program would then be decided based upon what your specific needs are.

Option 1.

Full Blown Sport Pilot training

This provides the training that takes you from start to finish, until you are ready to see the FAA examiner for your practical exam.

A. Purchase of FAA powered parachute handbook.

B. Purchase of Study materials to pass your ground school FAA Sport Pilot exam.

C. Purchase of other needed materials (log books, sectional maps, etc)

D. Training is $125/hour (will be explained when lesson plan is laid out) A $1250K initial, non-refundable deposit for the first 10 hours is paid prior to the first lesson.

Typical cost usually totals around $3000.

Option 2.

Powered Parachute endorsement for current GA pilot.

This provides the flight training needed to be proficient in flying a Powered parachute, and endorsements needed to see the second CFI for flight proficiency endorsement.

A. Purchase of FAA powered parachute handbook.

B. $1250K initial, non-refundable deposit for the first 10 hours is paid prior to the first lesson.

Cost will vary depending on how quickly the student grasps the concepts being taught.

Option 3.

Far 103 - Ultralight PPC flight training

This provides the flight training needed to be proficient in flying a Single-seat Powered parachute under FAA Far 103 guidelines.

A. Purchase of FAA powered parachute handbook.

B. $1250K initial, non-refundable deposit for the first 10 hours is paid prior to the first lesson.

C. Purchase of other needed materials (log books, sectional maps, etc)

Cost will vary depending on how quickly the student grasps the concepts being taught.
